Dear Hammocks Resident:
You may have noticed that we removed the announcements at several signs posted throughout our community where we have typically posted upcoming meetings and other community events. We had to remove these announcement signs due to Miami-Dade county permit issues. We are currently working with the County to obtain the proper permits so we can continue providing the information in this manner.
In the meantime, you may continue to be informed about these upcoming events through a variety of options, including:
- Through the community website. We post all upcoming events in the “events calendar” section

The Hammocks is a beautiful master planned community to be enjoyed by all members. So how has The Hammocks changed over the years? We have grown to become one of Dade Counties premier residential communities. With over 15,000 residents, one of the most utilized libraries in the county, bustling schools and businesses, parks and even an ice skating rink, the Hammocks is where you want to be.
The beauty and serenity of the lakes, greenbelts and park areas that surrond the Hammocks can provide some needed relief to our ever increasing busy lives, we are constantly implementing plans to make these areas even better. By adding native trees and shrubs and creating natural areas along the shoreline, the native birds are returning including the Great Blue Heron, Wood Ducks, White Ibis and others. As you take time to observe the habitat and beauty around the Pathways, let us know your thoughts.
Our goal for the community is to continue to make the needed improvements to the common areas and facilities to ensure a safe and beautiful community for all to enjoy. have an open door policy and have a trained knowledgeable staff to assist with any concerns the members may have. The Board of Directors is providing leadership that sees beyond the immediate; setting goals, discussing policy, attending to committee work and listening to the homeowners. We hope that you enjoy living in the Hammocks for many years to come.
