VOICE YOUR CHOICE!!!
The Hammocks Community Association's
2010 Annual Board of Directors Election
When: Tuesday, February 23rd. 2010
7:00 am to 8:00 pm
Where: 9020 Hammocks Blvd. (Main Office)
Homeowners are encouraged to participate in this annual election. Voting shows your support for those who will be making important decisions for your community on your behalf.
If you are unable to vote in person, please contact the association for an absentee ballot request. 305-382-3999 or click on "Documents" to the left of the screen and download a request.
All absentee ballots must be received no later than Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010, by 5:00 pm.

2010 Budget
At last nights Budget Adoption Meeting, the 2010 Master and Neighborhood budgets were approved. Copies of the budget will be posted neighborhood your neighborhood beginning Friday, December 4th, 2009. If you would like to view the budget on-line, click on documents on the main menu.

This is a reminder that 2010 Directors of Directors, candidate applications are due by Tuesday, December 15th, 2009 to be eligible to participate in the 2010 BOD Election. If you would like to run in this election and are in need of an application, please pass by the Main Clubhouse, 9020 Hammocks Blvd. to pick one up.

Budget Adoption Meeting
This is a reminder that the Hammocks Annual Budget Adoption Meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 1st, 2009 at 7:30 pm at the Main Clubhouse.
The proposed 2010 Budget is available for viewing under the documents section of this website.

The association is always searching for volunteers to join our Advisory Committees. If you or someone you know is interested in joining one of our Advisory Committees or if you are interested in becoming an Alternate Board member, please fill out a Committee or Alternate Board Member application located in the documents section of this website or contact our offices at 305-382-3999.
List of Advisory Committees
Finance Committee – Deals with Financial recommendations to the BOD.
Website / News / Technology Committee – Deals with Web site, News Letter and Technology.
Community Action Committee – Deals Community Related Issues that affect the HCA.
Public Safety Committee – Deals with Security Issues, Crime Watch etc.
Architectural Control Committee – Deals with External changes to Homes.

NEW RECREATIONAL FACILITY ACCESS SYSTEM
Recently the Hammocks Community installed a new Access Control System at all of the HCA recreational facilities. Homeowners will have to go to the Main Clubhouse in order to purchase a new ID/Access card for entry at all of the recreational facilities. Homeowners will no longer have to carry around two cards for identification. The new system has Incorporated both id and access control.
Homeowners should note that your old control card will no longer work with the new system. Please pass by the Main Clubhouse 9020 Hammocks Blvd for more information and to purchase the new access control cards. Each card will cost $5.00.
